    fresh fruit
    full english
    hard-to-find location

A magical stay in East Hoathly! 🌸🌳

Honestly, the brekkie was next level, with fresh fruit and a fluffy full English that just hit the spot! Plus, the garden is such a lekker place to chill. Carol and Ceri are chommies you want to have a dop with—so friendly and thoughtful!

Maybe it was a bit hard to find initially, but once you're there, it's all good.

    limited transport options
    irregular bus service

It was a challenge to find reliable transport options during the week, which limited our ability to explore. while the communal breakfast setting was charming, we found the local bus service to be quite irregular. Despite the host's warm welcome, our room could have used more thorough cleaning upon arrival.

    luxurious room

Couple seeking a warm and welcoming stay

We enjoyed the huge kingfisher room, it felt more like a suite with its luxurious walk-in shower and variety of toiletries. , the breakfast was out of this world, fresh with so many choices that it made every morning special.

It wasn't exactly budget-friendly, but you get what you pay for.

A Wonderful Stay at This Charming B&B

Our experience was delightful! Carol and Ceri's hospitality made us feel at home. The spacious bathroom with a corner bath was a highlight. Breakfast is a must—try the full English! For a fun day, take their advice to park in Lewes and use the train to reach Brighton.

    attentive service
    impressive breakfast
    limited dining options
    isolated location
    lack of nearby attractions

Hosts provided a warm and attentive experience, ensuring every detail was thoughtfully handled during my stay. Breakfast options were impressive, featuring the highly recommended tartines, which were a delightful start to each day. The rooms were scrupulously clean and well-maintained, enhancing the overall comfort. While the peaceful setting is a plus, the location felt somewhat isolated, limiting nearby dining options. Access to the spacious garden and friendly dogs added a charming touch to the stay.

    comfortable accommodations
    limited transportation options

The conservatory overlooking the stunning back garden is a wonderful spot to unwind, and the accommodations are incredibly comfortable. The host's extensive local knowledge made it easy to plan my trips to nearby attractions, and the peaceful surroundings create a relaxing atmosphere throughout my stay.

Transportation options for exploring the area were somewhat limited, making it a bit tricky to get around.

    immaculately presented room

    smaller room than expected

What a delightful stay! The immaculately presented room and exquisite breakfast choices were highlights. I loved the unique garden space too, though the room photos made it look bigger than it actually was. Would definitely revisit!
